Fuck all that playoff bullshit. Bowman Grey night race, top 16 go, 500 laps, qualify, invert the field, last man standing or first across the line at 500 is Champion. As long as you win your fights you can run as many backup cars as you need.

Lol. I agree about finding a track where they actually race but I think the better solution for that is to bring back horsepower. Otherwise intermediates are pretty much your only option with this car.

The tricky thing is the seasonality. The southernmost tracks have less possibility of freezing weather. Atlanta tends to be overcast in mid-November and often chilly for attending fans, so they moved the finale to Homestead. Then, they switched it to nighttime, which didn't make sense (well, it did to sell primetime advertisements). So it was cold in Florida, too. Then, they moved to Phoenix, which has been a mix of sunny and overcast. Without shortening or consolidating the season, the only way to escape this is to move the finale to the Southern hemisphere, or nearer the equator.

Average November temps for tracks South of the Mason-Dixon Line:

    • Homestead: 73
    • Daytona: 67
    • Phoenix: 65
    • COTA: 61
    • Las Vegas: 57
    • Texas: 56
    • Atlanta: 54
    • Rockingham: 53
    • Charlotte: 53
    • Darlington: 53
    • Sonoma: 53
    • Talladega: 51
    • Bowman Gray: 50
    • Nashville: 50
    • Mexico City: 50
    • Richmond: 50
    • North Wilkesboro: 48
    • Bristol: 46
    • Martinsville: 32

While most of these temps aren't particularly brutal, the wind at these tracks will do a number on you.

If this is doing it for Dale, please fucking stop! Ripping his # off that abomination might be. Thing looks like it belongs in Fast & Furious 28.

I totally agree. I'm 100% sure that the owner is a cornball.

I didn't think that was going to work out. It has to be hell for him. Being in a top tier team and winning and competing for years and then the owners quit on you. To go to a team that is making progress but is a mid tier at best. At this point he should be in a CK type of role. If I were RCR I would be trying to pick him up and saying. You have the funds and authority to make whatever changes you want.

Chase needs to find some aggression. In this car you have to be aggressive and Chase seems to not be able to flip that switch. I used to not like AG as his crew chief but out of the ones available I think he is a good fit for Chase. At this point Chase's problem is Chase.

Chase hasn't been relevant since 2020. The fans love him but he is not a top 5 -10 driver. Seems as soon as he got his Championship he stopped caring.

Lets hope that Ty is as wadded up as most of the freight I ship with Saia by the end of the day.
