Finished a basic bluestone pad for a greenhouse to sit on. It's pretty good for a half day at home without any big tools, and I didn't worry about proper shimming and spacing because I'm not going to grout the seams, I want a permeable surface. 3" of 3/8 chip underneath did the job just right.

The stone is all mismatched stuff I dragged home from the shop, but I love the iron and inclusions even if the clients don't, their loss is my gain.

I left those spaces next to the path for planting pockets or maybe to set a nice fieldstone. Critical footprint is 6'x10', got that plus a little on each side.

I hauled all the material with the Tacoma, too! I used a pallet with low sides to get the yard of chip stone, very handy (also my neighbor has a forklift).

I’m satisfied completely with the end result of reconstructing the engraving.
The Big project should be here in a couple of weeks.
    IMG_8947.jpg

I’m excited and nervous at the same time as not sure of the condition of the engraving or chipping in the set that’s coming.
    We will see..

Was scheduled to stain a small deck today. Had some light rain last night. Have to reschedule that now. I think I can keep busy today with some material pickup/deliveries for jobs later this week and next.

I remember the Cobra Ball RC-135 operations during the Cold War (and after). Some of them got close to Mach 1.0, powered by a MiG on their tail...

That’s one bad ass O ring, surprised it’s not made as a whole part, or maybe the assembly is considered an O ring. This is what was leaking bar oil IMG_1208.jpg

Morning :hattip:, anyone ever replace a clutch on a 025 Sthil chainsaw, come on U Tube , worked it to hard or it was just time. Got most of the wood cut before it died  I’ll see how hard it is and if I can get parts, feel like an ass taking it back to the dealer :spending:
