He told me the other day "I can't wait to use some of these tools". I said you will buddy, you will.

Reminds me of helping my dad work on stuff and getting greasy. Good times :D

    Morning shop :hattip:

Got my fingers crossed that the boss comes back to work today. The pile of things I can't do has gotten bigger over the days he's been out haha. On the up side, the place didn't burn down and none of the guys quit on me:bananadance:

    Morning
    I’m busy now.

    IMG_8952.jpg

    Special project.
Although I never met the man, I was requested to keep the engraving.
    I very rarely keep engraving.
Apparently he has passed and for a request like that is kinda nice.
Not sure if it’s going to a family member or just a remembrance. Since it’s not going to be the new owners name I decided to
Remove the white standout engraving and replace it with black to put it more in the background.
    I think a fitting compromise..

There are in pretty good shape, not like the blue ones that are destroyed.. Those are gonna suck..

Does that HEET stuff work to get water out of gas tank? And how does water get in there?

    Reserected from the dead.
    I never used it.

Is it a sealed gas system or is it vented?

Lawn mowers often have vented tanks.

The gasoline in the tank heats up during the day. At night it cools and contracts, pulling in damp air.

The moisture condenses and sinks to the bottom. Wash, rinse and repeat and a lot of water can accumulate.

When it's really humid outside I can walk by my tractors and the tires are wet on the outside up to where the liquid is on the inside. Also, the metal casings all have moisture on them. I assume it's on the inside as well. For that reason I try to keep them all full of gas or diesel. Not sure if that helps or not.

Why do bowling balls always seem to be made in the most psychedelic colors and patterns?

Not knocking it, more curious how that got started.

I made this alternator adjustment bracket a long time ago. Apparently the guy is just getting around to installing it and his fan hits it he said. You can see where he ground on it some. He ask that I weld a bracket to it to offset the hole 1".

Man, I ain't jacking it up like that. Here's you a new one :anonymous:

It can help deal with condensation, after a certain point though there's no overcoming the water and you have to drain the tank

    Individuality…
Would be pretty boring if you bought your own balls only to put them on the deck and be like the other 20 balls there. Different patterns as well as different cover stocks make your personal balls unique.
