Haha, well we'll just have to see what happens next

Right... & agreed, I definitely need a vehicle to do outdoorsy stuff. I'm thinking ~2018 Colorado ZR2... stock F/R lockers are a huge plus and they're fairly affordable vehicles thanks to Chevy depreciation. Mods wouldn't have to be extensive then, just tires and skids. Maybe much less fuss than the Lexus.

Would you make out ahead cash wise? I think it would be pretty similar. I also have alot more confidence in long term durability with toyotas.

edit. I have no idea the market on anything other than shitboxes

Cash wise it would be beneficial, at lease from a sell-then-buy standpoint

I also have more confidence in Toyotas than anything else but Tacomas a) are out of budget should I sell the Lexus and b) the rear seat room isn't conducive to car seats

And a ZR2 checks the budget and car seat boxes?

Not knowing what you'd get for yours, if you factor insurance, sales taxes, etc - you're probably a wash at best, if not ending up in the red. If I'm wrong with that gut feeling I'm happy to admit it. But i just think you'll end up regretting doing all the work to have a different vehicle for the same purpose.

Unless you want a bed instead of the enclosed SUV. and the human element of "but i want" can outweigh things too. That's why I got a Tacoma instead of a ranger, frontier, or Ridgeline. By far the Tacoma was not the best decision. But i make fantastic bad decisions as said, and this was one of them.

Got a coat of wax on the new truck!
Here’s the full shot and the reflection

after waxing, it became apparent how much paint correction is already needed on a new truck…. Pretty awful how bad it is from the factory.

We definitely have to meet up soon whether you are getting rid of your GX or not Because I have to see what the 34 skinney looks like on my truck and whether or not it can take it....... without me having to cut more into my frame lol

I mean 35 skinnies is just another 1/2" more into the frame. When has 1/2" hurt anybody.

hence The reason of just throwing them on to see exactly where my numbers would be Prior to spending $1500 on brand new tires and then needing to do more cutting.
