I can most definitely relate to that. My 2nd divorce was getting out of a physically as well as verbally abusive relationship. My ex was an explosive type. She would attack me sometimes, even though I had 10" in height, and 100+ pounds of weight advantage over her. I posted a full summary of what finally led me to walk out the door in the "Crazy Ex" thread somewhere here on TW a few years back. The process can be difficult / painful, but you know it is indeed the right thing to do for your health, safety, and overall wellbeing. Best wishes
