rough iddle at start, throws codes

I have a 2004 2.7l manual trans 4wd Taco.
it has a rough idle in the morning and will throw codes and an engine light. (300,302,303)
If i throttle up for a bit it will go away and evades the codes most of the time ( after reseting them of course)
it runs fine all day after no probs, same thing day after day.
anywho, its not MAF, top sensor, coils or plugs.

and now it will ping a bit after i get it to idle proper as throttle unless i wait a bit first as to warm up or something, lol.
my thoughts are its my EGR valve stuck, clogged or broke.
im going to remove it and clean it or replace it and the egr modulator as well.

any thoughts?

 

I'm having a similar issue, but mine's a 2012 2.7L. I don't get codes though. yet

Hoping someone will chime in with suggestions.

yeah it aint no head gasket or it wouldnt go away. no broken fan blade hence it wouldnt go away either. and if it was valves then it in theory shouldnt go away. low flow fuel filter shouldnt go away either. feels more EGR related as it casues the effects of stuck closed and open. hence casueing misfire code and vibration until or unless throttled. ughh, maybe ill just buck up get the system cleaned checked, tune up etc, then see if it persists, then change egr, lol

its so maddening because its only at start in beginning of day never after till next day without fail, clockwork . heck, rest of day after first start, perfect.
