2 sets of DCLB sliders will probably be shipping this week. Hopefully I can get some installed pics from the owners once they're mounted in a couple weeks.

Shipped one set so far, another will be done today, and a 3rd set will be shipping by Monday so stay tuned, I'm sure the guys that have ordered them will be posting pics. :)
Yours just need the legs/gussets welded on and will be done by the end of the day. I'll contact you about shipping them out later tonight or tomorrow morning. :)

Now, different folks on the TW will have different definitions for what does and does not constitute a "hard hit." And I don't run with some of those bad boys.

But, I gave my Relentless sliders a pretty good "love tap" today on Gold Bar Rim trail, and they didn't fold, bend, spindle or mutilate. There are some paint scratches on the bottom, and there are lines in the paint on top where the body flexed on it's rubber mounts, forcing the pinch weld into the top of the sliders.

Someone else will have to report on the results of truly "hard hit" testing. But I'm satisfied I got my money's worth.

It doesn't photograph well, the cab mounts are hard to get to.

But the cab, like the engine, is bolted to the frame by way of flexible rubber mounts that allow for a certain amount of flex. So the body can and does move closer to the sliders which are welded rigidly to the frame.

oh ok .. cab pinch weld touched tops of the mounts .. wander if its because of frame flexing or cab shaking around on those rubber mounts .. this poses a question of how far a slider should be welded from the cab pinch weld
