They should still be around. Nate is a little slow to respond sometimes, however.

I ran into this issue last summer when ordering through the website. I had to go through his ebay site to get ahold of him. Great product though.

Edit: Here's the link to the storefront.

So I decided to remove the restrictor jet brass nozzle hose clogger 2000 thing. Since I have the charger installed, it was a bit tough to see. I figured I would just remove the entire hose that was over it, and feel it out.

While I was getting a feel for where it was while having my vision obscured by the back of the charger, figuring out how I would approach the POP - stupid thing came right out. All I needed was a fingernail underneath it. Not even remotely held in by friction. Wild. It immediately vanished down the back of the engine, have fun with the other nuts and bolts in that void I swear there's a very small singularity back there.

    So that was easy.

That said the other end of that hose on the charger slides on and off like a joke. I ziptied it for now but still it aint great. Is there a known good hose size to replace that with? It seems to fit decently on the other end.

For the expense of the kit I'm a bit shocked by certain aspects of it. Some of it is great, but it seems like Magnuson cheaped out or just did some fast and careless engineering in the margins. I've replaced loose hoses in other parts of this build as well.

So I'm still running the bullydog tune on this thing, notoriously lean. My local tune guy wanted me to break this thing in proper but I really don't want to run lean for too long. Probably 150/200 miles in, sound like a good time to get that done?

I put a small hose clamp on both sides. I think a lot of others have done the same.

I tried one, didn't like it and switched to an AFE box style.

Yes it will work with the SC itself, but the fitment gets interesting behind the grill. Measure the filter diameter on the URD, make sure your grill has room for it. Mine is stock depth and I wanted to keep that. I was going to do the weather shield piece in front of the URD as well that would have taken up even more space there. Bear in mind when you measure, with the SC you will also have the SC intercooler that goes in front of your AC condenser as well. So you will also lose some depth there.

That said it seemed like a really nicely built piece. And URD were super cool about me switching once I decided it wasn't really working for me.

Time to ask this one - P0441. Usually the code if your gas cap isn't sealing, I figured it for the hose between the PCV and the charger. But I swapped the PCV, cut a new longer hose and got that clamped up nice. Just pulled the code again. Could be coincidence but just curious what else I should be looking at. Could a badly sealing fuel injector cause that? I don't see any linkage on the passenger side.

To start, the PCV has nothing to do with the EVAP system.
Check your hoses from the metal vent line to the vent valve that got relocated on the oil filler tube. Make sure your hoses are routed correctly and are tight. You just finished putting the super charger on, that's why I say to look at all of it.

I'm starting to pull my truck apart, but if you need a pic to figure out the in and out of the cable I can get one tomorrow after work. No offence, I may need a reminder. Lol!

I had an EVAP code on my truck that would pop up randomly. (I don't remember the code #)
A fuel cap fixed it for me. But this is just my experience.

    Edit: fixed spelling mistakes.

Same happened for me after my install. If you have the means, a smoke test susses it out real quick. My neighbor is an electrician and had his homemade smoke machine he fabricated that he let me use. Leak was coming from where the SC mates to the engine. Some idiot forgot to tighten down the bolts :anonymous:.

A fair amount of the hoses in the SC kit are... interesting. Tight on one side, loose on the other. I've had to make some adjustments already, I'm just surprised the kit at the expense isn't a little more refined on the fitment.

My installer of course, while handsome, can be a bit of a moron sometimes. I'll see what I - I mean HE - did.

Isn't this one the one you just built up with the LCE pistons and stuff?

Yep! 3 years last month and about 28,000 miles. It ran strong until last friday. Once i get it out I'll tear it down and see what happened.

I just ran a smaller hose and then let pressure do it's thing. It sucks to remove it from time to times that I have to, but it fits, it works and there are no leaks from there.
