I have a 1995 Tacoma V6 4x4 extra cab with a blown head gasket. The truck is rough and I’m not sure of the mileage. I’m trying to consider the cost options. I’m not sure the value of the truck or if I should accept the loss.

You want to fix it or you want to sell it? You need to explain more so we understand clearly.

If you mean fixing the engine, then you can get an used engine or head gasket.... you can find them at junkyard.

If you want to sell the truck, sell it cheap so the buyer can buy it then fix it up for road uses or off road uses. Or buyer can fix it up so he can pass it down to teenager kid.

yes first decide what you want to do. Fix it for yourself or selling it.

If fixing it, first see what the condition of the rest of the truck is. Especially the frame.

Thank you! What do you think 95 4x4 in fair condition with a blown head gasket would be worth?

I don't know how its worth until I see your pictures of your truck (outside, inside, under the truck, under the hood).

Which you stated in your first post above that your truck is in rough, makes me think you might have rust issues underneath.

FYI, if the truck has rust issues on frame, the buyer can walk away from it. Meaning that he refuses to buy it unless he has money and time to replace the frame. If no one buys it, then sell it to the junkyard and they will be happy to pay you for it. They will send the flatbed truck to pick it up. Either junkyard or salvage company..

So it is up to you to sell it to a buyer or junkyard/salvage. If you have kids, why not keep it until the right time so you can fix it up for the kid.
