    Yes...
Does it have a tint of green to the oil seeping?
Had to tell from the pics, but that would also confirm a leak.
Not certain toyota uses green dye, vs some other color...

But you also want to be 100% certain corner of timing cover or valve cover isnt leaking & trailing down onto everything below it...
Nobody can determine that for you from a few pics...

Worry about? It will eventually fail if it in fact is the compressor as the source of the leak.

Looks like it, you can confirm by shining a UV light on it and seeing if it glows bright green.

Check the age and mileage of the compressor to determine its condition.

see if that is coming from the compressor or something else.

this is only going to work if it has already had UV dye added into it previously.

I dont know about toyota but most manufacturers put dye in the system from the factory.....
Thats why I asked if the oil residue had a green tint to it.....
Its usually not faint & can be seen without a UV light....

12+ Tacomas have factory added dye, possibly as early as 09 has dye but I don't know.

Nearly every vehicle manufactured since around 12-14 has factory dye but there are a few exceptions.

Refrigerant leaks out over time normally.

recharge is cheap. There also injector tools that can manually inject dye.

to be sure if OP wants they can have a recharge done for cheap, first, or manually inject dye, and check with UV flashlight.

given the condition, age, and miles that the picture suggests, I would skip that and replace the compressor.

that’s what I did. Have my old working non leaking original one sitting in a box still if it’s of any use to anyone.

be advised, for some reason whatever I ordered from the dealer unfortunately did not have a clutch. I still need to do that. Swapped my old one on. They could not get a new clutch ordered in at the time. It was on national backorder. Don’t know about right now.

point is if anyone plans to replace their compressor, see if a good one can be found with a clutch. Better than re-use of a worn component and playing transfer component game.

Ill say it once again, may already have dye in the system & no need for hoop jumping.
he never said his ac isnt blowing cold....
If that seepage isnt coming from upper higher engine source like valve cover or timing cover leaking down onto the compressor, then the compressor is leaking oil from the front....
No need to waste more funds on charges at this point, just use your eyeballs....
