Looking at a 2012 Tacoma, tpms light comes on. I checked air pressure and all is good except the flat spare. Is there a tpms sensor in the spare tire that would trigger the tpms light if the spare is flat? Trying to figure out what is causing the light come on. Thanks, Nate

I don't belive 12 has one in the spare.
Does the light flash first and then remain on or is it just on solid?

The light flashes at first then stays solid. Thanks

That indicates it's not seeing a signal from one or more sensors, most likely one or more have died. Average sensor life is typically around 7-10 years, most tire shops should have a tool to ping them and see if they are good.
