1st Gen Lunchtable Thread - General Discussion

One of the things that really reminded me of the old school games was yelling at the TV trying to get the character to jump off the damn wall or to just fuckin climb while trying to run away a time or two. I think the entire game would have been a little better if I hadn't just played through Ghost Of Tsushima but it's still a good game

 

That's the main reason why I haven't bothered. I only recently played through Ghost of Tsushima

 

Xbox 360 Reminds me of playing Crackdown with my brother while he was in Okinawa

 

I just want to go back to BC2 Vietnam when you could fly hueys through rice field blasting fortunate son with the boys

 

Ghost of Tsushima was awesome, can't wait for Ghost of Yotei to come out, ill have to borrow a buddy's PS5 again for it but that's not an issue

 

Mw2 multiplayer lobbies yelling crazy ass shit to randoms was probably the pinnacle gaming for me

 

Man, I got a buyer committed for Sunday for my table. Scheduled and planned since yesterday.

Today a guy says he wants to buy it Sunday, told him it's committed to someone else lol

He's now asking "what about Saturday? What about tomorrow? I got cash in hand."

Sucks, he should've committed to buying it when he inquired 2-3 days ago

I had 3K+ views on a Facebook marketplace listing for this rusty 4th gen 4Runner.

The buyer ended up messaging me at 3pm today and had it picked up on a trailer by 8pm. The people that have been messaging me for weeks and tire kicking? Mad in my DMs that it sold.

This guy though didn't really waste much time like your typical FB tire kickers do. Guy sounded legit, but told me he'd have to look into the system more before he commits.

Then bam, he so wants to get it before this other guy that he said 'I'll be able to pick it up as soon as tomorrow 6:30pm, all $2.5k cash in hand.'

Told him I'm sorry I can't have a guy thinking he's coming Sunday and suddenly the table is gone.

 

I got 3 weeks until I have to clear the corner anyway so no rush.

Too bad no one in the forum wanted it.
