    Hey all,

    I just saw a link to this forum on TN and had to visit. I lurched for a while and decided to join. I bought an 08 Taco about 45 days ago and have already put 2200 miles on (alot in my book). I love driving this thing. But have already had a few mishaps with my first new vehicle in 9 years. I guess this is why I hate buying new vehicles cause everything hurts more.

    In the second week of ownership I ran over a small Scion XB that parked right outside my driveway. Mind you, where I live no one parks on the streets. I was still getting used to the truck and still am. Nothing but a small scratch on one of the taillights but still sucked. Then last week, I find a dent at the top of the driver door. Seems like a tree limb of something fell on it. Who knows exactly what happened. But all in all I love the truck. Even with the lil run of bad luck. I have already put the bed to good use and made some personality scratches on the bed from tugging things around.

    Anyway, this is my first truck and cannot be happier.

    Here are pics:::

    Here is a pic of that NASTY dent... Which I do plan on getting a PDR guy to fix...

    Welcome to TW, Roddy. I know what you mean about putting on too many miles because you enjoy driving it. I am in the same boat. I am putting more miles onto my Taco than I have put on any other car I have owned. Maybe because it is my first truck also...

    Welcome to TW!

    Nice looking truck. Sorry about your string of bad luck, but at least it is all minor.
    ;)
