I've worked 7-3 since I started here 29+ years ago. My old coworker worked 8-5 then got to where he would be in by lunch before he retired. My boss has been an 8-5 guy most of the time unless he had to stop and see a customer, pick up material or a tool, etc.

Since my boss mans dad passed away, he and his siblings share spending the night with his mom so sometimes he's here at 7 now since she lives close.

Since my coworker retired I've had to come back to the shop for something I forgot a couple times and my boss was either gone or his light was off cause he was fixing to leave right after me. I could care less, I get my 8 in and leave.

Yesterday I heard him on the phone with someone and he said "we're open 7-3"
