I've had several customers come in early in the morning and say "you closed early yesterday didn't you?"

    I say I don't know, I leave at 3

Broke shaft repair. Bored the big part out 3 1/2" deep and put a new piece in it, welded it, then turned it and redrilled the hole. Keyway didn't need to be as long.

Cole was with me yesterday and I said you want to see something cool? I set the big piece upright on the floor and put the new piece on top of it, it went in about a 1/2". I got the torch and heated the big part up and the shaft fell in. He said why did it do that? :D

    Here's the stupid part.

They milled and paved all of that one lane to wherever it went.

I came home yesterday and the other lane, they spot milled and paved it. From our house to the line which is about 3 miles, there are 10-12 spots they "fixed".

Why not do the whole thing

    Happy Birthday @Tacoma Mike :hbd:

@Hunterdc1 , wonder what the guy’s doc thinks about it? If you know the actual med, you can look up the data sheet to see the warnings about it.

I would think the liability would fall far and wide if something were to happen. Stay safe

I ask the powder coat man about black, he said have it here by 7 am and we'll do it. I got up early and dropped it off at 6:25, they had it done in less than 2 hours.

I learned about the expanding metal in the opposite direction when I was a teenager. My buddy and I were having some difficulty trying to replace a ball joint on his '72 Nova. His dad told us to put the new joint in the freezer for a bit and try again. What would you know, an hour later that little sucker popped right in with hardly any fuss.
