Man this City of SD Trash fee thing is really heating up. If you're in the city of SD and have the city collect you should have received a form on the details with a way to send in your take on the plan. We got ours and already sent it in "Opposed" !
Measure B was 23-29 bucks a month now the city wants 53 and then raises it to near 100 bucks a month by 2028, the worst thing is is they are trying to stuff into the your properties "tax roll", which means they would have the legal means to foreclose on your home if you stopped paying.
Such BS! This city is out of control!

On another note, thinking of heading out to the Des(Ocotillo) Sunday, although the weather is forecast for High winds. Now that I stitched my Core support back together I want to get some more drive time in the des before it gets too hot.

Ah gotcha, then you have plenty of visual data in order to figure things out and I agree on the 3.0s of finances allow, its nice knowing you will see less degradation in performance when using larger bodied shocks to help control temps with the extra volume as well as the body itself being used as a heat exchanger.
Not sure if they make any, but it would be nice to have the ability to add some sort of bolt on heat sync to the body in order to make them more efficient, somewhat like when you add a cooler to your Processor in your computer with some thermal grease so you can improve the cooling ability. There has to be something out there for that but I have never really looked into it.

You likely have this taken care of by now, I can do it for you since I have the tools, don't want to lend it out since they can break easily and prefer to avoid that scenario. I only have one left, I've broken a few myself over the years but I have also done hundreds of ECGS installs so I guess that's not a horrible ratio.
Anyway if you want to have it installed I can do it while you wait as another option FYI.

The truck I had on the lift was dancing around an bit but no damage here. I thought it was Camp Pendelton bombing but the sound persisted, sounded like a large avalanche in the distance from where I was, seemed to be more of an audible earthquake than it was shaky.

Yes they are, somebody has to pay for the "Unhoused" (changing language to soften things is unhelpful), somehow we lost 30 BILLION dollars, oops! Move along people, nothing to see here... It's crazy how that whole thing is rarely mentioned and here we are trying to jack up the costs on everything else. It's BONKERS! I pay around $6k per year in property taxes and when I need something done they never do a damn thing. Booo!

I might try and get out this weekend if I can get all my work stuff done but not sure about that just yet, would be fun!

Well I finally got a full sized truck, been looking for over a year now and finally ended up with a 2014 Ram 3500 Laramie Limited 4x4, 6.7 Cummins crew cab w/8' longbed, non-dually. The Chassis is ridiculously long, gonna be a challenge to park it, but I'll use my Tacoma 95% of the time unless I need materials or have to tow something big.
And oh boy does it ride like a heavy chassis vehicle, she’s pretty stiff!
But I’m glad the search is over, I was so over it.

Congrats. Good looking truck. My DBLB superduty is a bear to park too. My fillings feel like they are going to pop out when I get onto dirt, but is nice when towing.

Thanks, and yeah that sounds about right.
Gonna put some new shocks on it and pull some leaf springs and add airbags, that should help out a bit.

This is a little off topic but does anyone know any good entry level job openings in SD right now? I'm in the process of getting out of my current industry that is pretty much a dead end. Any input is appreciated
