That's what I'm here for, the mods and the gear.
I was traveling from San Diego to Pensacola, FL and came across a gator sunbathing on the road. But it looked like a log and my first thought was "Let me go ahead and move the log off the road for other drivers." Yeah, I drove around it and kept driving.

Why for some reason do I believe you?

I did get to pet an alligator once. It was about a 3 footer.
O,ya it had its mouth taped shut and a pretty young girl was holding it. This was at a wildlife park/zoo in Sarasota Fl.

I was waiting for a comment like this. I had an idea it would be you James

We were camped on a chickee. It's a raised platform similar to a pier. Found out after we got home that gators can jump.

I use a big cutlery knife to open rolls of paper...
If a coworker looks over at me when I'm opening a roll, I always hold the knife up to my face, like Gator!

There is a guy in Bayfield that has a gator in his garage. Got it as a baby and I can say he has had the thing for at least 15 years now. Never seen it but it is local legend Cannot imagine the heating bill or smell...

That would be considered threatening where I work. It has gotten so bad at work that we had a meeting and were told we can't talk about other people. I said that if we can't talk about other people, what's the point of coming to work.

That's funny, because back when I was a wee lad a neighbor told us he had an gator in his basement.
How do I remember stuff like that but I can't remember where I set my coffee cup down.

No, the operator is dangerous, the knife is a tool.
