I just bought KSP 1.5 inch hub centric wheel spacers for the yota. Was this a good buy or not. Let me know what you guys think.

Nothing wrong with it, hub centric is the only way to go. Never heard of KSP but hopefully it’s quality grade.

I’ve been running 1.25” wheel spacers since 2017 without issues.

I had those on my truck, but they immediately caused vibrations at any speed above 45 mph. I removed them and made sure that the hub I installed them on were 100% clean, and that my stock lugs did not come into contact with the hub of my wheel. Still had vibrations...

I've heard that wheel spacers can/will exacerbate any worn suspension issue into also causing vibrations. I recently re-did my entire front and rear end, including ball joints, tie rods, uca/lca bushings etc etc etc. Figured i'd try the KSP wheel spacer again, and immediately had vibrations again.

Purchased a set of BORA branded wheel spacers, vibrations were still there, so I gave up on wheel spacers.

My husband's car has a set of spidertrax spacers on his 4runner without any issues, but the local reputable alignment shop refuses to align any 4x4 vehicle with spacers... So he removed his as well.

Honestly I’ve had 1.5” Synergy spacers from poly performance since 2014 and have had 0 issues.

I mean maybe UCAs, tierods, or LBJs if pushed out far enough but that’s a stretch.

Blocks and spacers placed on the actual suspension parts yes, will cause issues.

I've been running no name spacers on 35" tires for 7 years with no problems.

The spacers have outlasted OEM cv axles and chromoly axle shafts. it is critical to use a torque wrench when installing them. I also use red loctite on the lugs holding the spacers to the axle/hub.

I only did it for 2 but there is no difference between paying for Spidertrax or some rebranded, 3x drop-shipped spacer on eBay for a third of the cost. The only question is how many middle-man families do you want to feed today

Insane frame rust, driver side smash up really nice
The real question to know if it was a good buy is what did you pay for them? I just got a pair of 1.25s from princess auto for my 01 and it was a hundred bucks for the pair, they appear to be better quality than whatever the last owner had in place
