Nope they won't. They fought too hard in order to let that go, and I'm sure the Kings took a big hit in that one.

To each his own, but Kings are a solid defensive team, and they didn't play solid defense at all during the second. They seemed confused, and lost the faceoffs. This game went down to faceoffs more so than anything else. Feel free to disagree, series is still young.

I do disagree. The kings got confused because San Jose picked up the pace. One change in gameplay affected the other. I still say you were more consistent and we were the ones trying to find our rhythm.

I'm sorry but if you look back at game 2 the Sharks had no intensity in their game. This carried on into the beginning of the first period. Once the Sharks scored they took that momentum and carried it on. They actually started to give a shit and played like they know they could. Yes it did come down to faceoffs, but that is a strong part of their game. I do agree that in the 3rd their defense came out, but the Sharks were also being a little conservative. True the series is still young, however, I still think that the Sharks will continue this momentum into the next game and will take it back home 3-1.

Why do you stop at game 2? Go back to game one and realize the Kings could have won that just like the Sharks did. It was a matter of time before someone scored. I didn't hear you guys complaining then that the Sharks didn't play well or weren't bringing their A-game. Don't make it seem like the Sharks were playing subpar all series. One game, is one game, and I know the Kings, and they could shut down any team if they play like they did last game. It's easy to say Sharks didn't play well, and not give any credit to the Kings, yet when I state Kings seemed confused today, it's because the Sharks played so great. Either way, it was an intense and exciting, albeit sad game, for me. Looking forward to Thursday!

Yup! I'd rather just lose 6-0 then lose the way we lost. I guess all the good teams lost today.

True, the kings in the 2nd looked like the the sharks all last game. They picked it back up in the 3rd but couldn't keep it going in OT, I don't even think they got a shot on net.

He still may have been the best player on the ice for VAN, that says alot about how shitty that whole team played. Bieska & Edler were pylons, Sedins were liabilities every time they were on the ice. I don't think any Canuck tried to throw a hit until 4 minutes left in the game. The Salmon Kings would have kicked their ass tonight.
Oh well, the loss is fine with me. More games for VAN = more points for my hockey pool team.;)

Ya my feeling was due to the non-suspension of Torres they spent the whole game trying to not let any emotion get into it out of fear of it getting too rough.

Instead had they just stuck to their gameplan and hit from the begining they would have be fine.

I predicted Canucks in 5 and was not expecting a sweep anyways, granted I wasn't expecting that terrible of a showing, but it's all a loss on the scoresheet. :anonymous:

Does not bode well for the Caps tonight. Midway through the 2nd and the Caps are just going through the motions. Seens like they are always a half step back.

They had better pick up the play and take it to the Rangers.
