Will Therma Pro probes lose accuracy over time?
Mine seem to be reading low compared to my instant read. Will the ice water/boiling water test tell me or could they be inaccurate within the range?

 

Yes test them but mine seem ok after 5+ years

 

thermapen has batteries, no ideer on the therma "PRO"

 

Assuming you have the wired probes, the boil check should be accurate long beyond this lifetime. If water or other debris made its way into the housing, you’ll see discrepancies within the same test. New probes are inexpensive and an easy way to test if your module is malfunctioning

I got burned by trying to get pizza in Texas, so when I was in San Diego I stuck to tacos and burritos, not making that mistake again. Stick to what the area is known for. If i want a Cajun smokehouse, I'm going to Louisiana.
