I can't say the knock sensor would be replaced by then though but I do have a new replacement along with a new plug on hand.

 

I bought a replacement plug/harness in the event that the knock sensor is good and that only the plug got messed up.

I had that issue with the Land Cruiser where the knock sensor plug crumbled in my hands -

 

Better question is what kind of MTB is he rockin

2004 I believe, so no VVTI.

Everything works, airbag suspension, AC dual zone, etc. The 3rd row seating is removed but I have it on hand and it's in excellent shape.

You can shoot me a text once he sells his truck and things get more serious
