Back in.... Cool wet morning here.

Girls are back from beach, so the quiet & calm have been shattered.

Its chaos as they slam, bang, throw luggage & dirty clothes everywhere, rile the pets......

And they are pissy at each other because they are at the Vaca limits of toleration.

Yay.... Didn't take 5 minutes for them to ruin a week's worth of animals routine, discipline & neatness. Everything was going so smooth & systematic...

Now I just wanna find a dark quiet corner & count backwards from 100. Vaca is for sure over.

I've heard about the Carlisle swapmeet and the rare & hard to find car parts you can get there

When I was living in the Socal High Desert I would head to the Pomona / LA county fairgrounds for the Pomona swapmeet . It was located at the Pomona Dragstrip . This swapmeet was huge at over a quarter mile long . Just walking thru the rows of vendors and people selling parts it would take you over 5 hours

Good morning. It’s going to be a two coffee morning for me. Up way past my bedtime. I went to the Brit Floyd show last night. Harry Waters (Roger Waters son) is touring with them this year. Show was fantastic as always.

I went that swap meet once, there was lots to look at. It was my first time away from the east coast, I was floored at the pristine condition of the parts (and vehicles) because of the climate, rust-free was a foreign concept to me at the time!

After 10 minutes max, he should have tried reaching you by some other means. It's called "Escalation", MF, do you speak it?!?!??? At the very least, he knew to ask one of your colleagues to reach out to you. This is likely the caliber of "candidates who more closely meet our needs" that I keep getting rejected for. Of course I know lots of companies are still posting ghost jobs that do not exist and will never be filled, just to make the Wall Street idiots they are doing tons of business........

:eek::eek::eek::eek::eek: Holy Shit Sticks, Batman!!!! That's California level of bullshit crazy. But of course the reason for it is, too many Californians moving to the area. I freely admit, MT is in the top 5 States I would love to live in, but I do not do cities. I'd be out there like OneGiraffe and Twizted. If I can see a neighbor, I'm not far enough away. As long as I can get internets so I can work.......

like i said earlier...if it were up to me i'd hire you in a heartbeat. you'd have the current guy beat hands down.
its wild over there. and getting less MT-ish every day. i really dont miss it - I've only been back 4 times since I moved. grocery shopping is kind of a pain for me and i have to go out of town once a month or so to get stuff that i cant get here. but my folks do the same so we usually stagger who goes where and when and buy stuff for one another so its not such a huge inconvenience.
but hell, when i was in Bozeman with tons of stores I was still going out of town for groceries because the stores there never stock their shelves. they can't hire enough people because they can't pay enough. summer time i would make time to stop in Helena whenever my travels took my that way or even if it was a tiny bit out of the way. I'd come home with the camper loaded with groceries. I gave up on the Bozeman WalMart years ago. You go in there and the shelves are empty but the aisles are full of pallets of boxes. no one to stock the shelves.
Local city officials all promoting how much new business they're bringing to town and how many more jobs. Great. But no one wants the jobs becuase they don't pay enough. Or the new jobs pay just a tiny bit more so they leave the less paying job. And no one's taking over that old job so that business is left shorthanded. Bringing more business to town is actually creating more of a problem from what I can see.
