My van has never had an issue until now, I was just at idle in a parking lot until it sputtered for about 5 seconds then stopped, didn't start up again. There may have been early signs of some issue somewhere, my vehicle had been having some misfires on startup lately, but it was usually only once and just for a second.

Vehicle has spark, fuel, air and timing, all have been confirmed, the only lead that we are following right now is we removed the spark plug an watched it ark as it cranked over and the mechanic says the spark appears weak.

What has been done so far:
    replaced ignition coil
replaced spark plugs, both BKR5's and SK16's were tested
changed out the spark plug cables as well and parts of the distributor
got continuity and resistance values, all seems to be in spec
Battery is new, changed it out a month ago, reads good
    checked fuses, nothing remarkable
*all parts I buy are OEM*
Even with confirmed timing, spark and fuel, the engine doesn't even show a single sign that it wants to make the effort to start, when spraying the air intake it never made an effort still, which still has us believe that weak spark can be the only culprit, however we are unsure at this time, im hoping someone can provide us with some good insight here, were a little lost in the sauce but still chugging through the troubleshooting process, thanks in advance.

Pop the cover off and see if the timing belt broke

Ah, it's got a chain, nevermind..

So it doesn't run on starting fluid?

It's possible the ignition coil is weak. The spark should be bright blue/white and make a sharp snapping noise arcing to ground.

Yep, doesn't run with starting fluid, and according to the mechanic I'm working with its not blue/white, more just straight white and the snaping is not very loud but seems like it’s enough, he was the one observing the spark while I was just cranking it over.

We did also change the ignition coil out, and no change, ive ordered the condenser and even ICM as well to just keep the ball rolling, even though they dont show any surefire evidence that they are boned.

Did you replace this igniter https://www.tacomaworld.com/threads/where-is-the-coil-s-on-the-2-7.719701/#post-25622414 or did you test replace individual coil packs at the spark plugs?

You said it cranks, right? Vacuum lines/leaks and throttle position sensor come to mind also.

Yes, our testing shows it should at least be good enough, and its unlikely it would've just crapped out suddenly like that anyway.
Im waiting on the Igniter its on the way, I replaced individual coil packs so far.

We did some checks with the throttle, it cranks but doesn't even sputter, even with starter fluid, there should still be some ignition even if there was an issue with vacuum.

I dont have a means of accurate testing, we were just bootleg testing, listening and feeling.

Not trying to be rude but it'll be really hard for anyone to help if you can't do any type of testing.. all we can do is guess which parts to replace and it sounds like you've already thrown a ton at it

We’re very confident that compression is not the issue anyway so we’re not going in depth on that end.
