They made me do multiple tests though - one on galvanized thin steel (MIG) and another on small steel pipe (TIG)

I remember the text and email follow ups and I ultimately declined cause it's like 30mins each way which ain't too bad, but they run 24/7 and being a new hire would've put me on the night shift so I was like fuuuuuuuuck that

I was only gonna work as a welder for experience lol nothing more

That particular one in the photo was a ammonia condenser. Thats why it was all welded pipe. Ammonia eat copper and brass so everything has to be steel.

Makes sense why they needed welders for welding together steel pipe

When I first mentioned the galvanized, they said they'd cover costs for a PAPR

    I still want one

The facility is HUGE, and it's full blown manufacturing all done in-house so yeah stainless was part of the weld test too.

All thin material too except the steel pipe.

The way it's run is like full blown corporate though - I remember filling out and signing this whole checklist just when I got there, along with putting on a hard hat just walking through the door leaving the front entrance/office. If I recall, earpro was also required.

Table or those platforms you lay on?

I had one, new in box, and never used it so I gave it away.

VA paid like $800+ for it.

She's like 3 months old

We're heading out to my cousin's baby shower hence why I'll be able to see some family I haven't seen in a minute

Me being the oldest, my brother never really settled down until recently - I've got no other nephews or nieces
