That just made me think of fire trucks not fitting into stations. The trucks are getting bigger and stations can't easily make them fit. Most stations have slabs and lodging over. It's not easy to raise the roof or lower the floor in any capacity.

    https://www.fireapparatusmagazine.c...ing-new-fire-apparatus-into-old-firehouses-2/

This is happening all across New England especially with all of our old fire houses.

Doing Cambridge fire department rehab now. They dropped the floor. Pretty cool but it’s still Cambridge and parking sucks

Yep. Double checked the calendar. I have the 17th off.

@CTSpruceMica What 4WD switch kit do you have and where will the outside temp be displayed?

I got the switch kit from AllTacosFloat...I'll look for the install thread and also shoot you a text with pictures of both.
The outside temp uses one of the lower blanks to the left of the wheel and the sensor wire uses a firewall grommet

That's how I ended up in a Tacoma. Brought home a F150 on a test drive and it was too high, had the length but not door height.

Good morning CT and surrounding areas. Up early for a road trip to New Hampshire to have my sliders welded on.

The sliders are fully welded. Just got home.
I'll finish putting down some primer and paint them this week at work, a lift makes it that much easier. :)

How many people at work are going to call them a step/running board?

    Thanks again to @TacoTuesday603

Picked up a set of TRD Pro Fox coilovers.
Anyone know if there is a difference between the 4runner vs Tacoma fronts?

I believe it depends on the year. One of the generations line up with second gens. If those are from a newer 4Runner I don’t think so.

Lower mounts are the same and need to be pried open for both Tacoma and 4Runner struts afaik. I'm curious about valving and spring rates
