If I have for anyone else, LMK. I’m moving stuff around and don’t want to forget… I think I’m also holding for @williams63 …. appreciate! Oh yea… who was it wanted F1 five pack and who was purple Dollar General? I got a straight up trade for a M2 and Moving Parts Hellcat that will put them in my hands. Think I might ask for the Williams racing too, if that’s still needed (I suspect he has that too).

Purchased this Maisto 1971 Dastun 240z on eBay for a project idea I had. It was cheap and useful since I couldn't get it at Costco, but the side mirror didn't make the trip, so I decided to buy a NIB one. I've got this one listed for sale locally for the $20 I paid for it on eBay.


Maisto 1971 Datsun 240z, take two. This is a nearly candy colored green one. My idea was to do slotted wheels similar to the ones that many Zs used in the 1970s and with the chrome-ish paint, I figured I could do a Cali-inspired custom. Unfortunately with the larger tires that I bought it doesn't really match the image in my head. I am keeping my eyes open for the custom Zs that Maisto produced which had a hatch spoiler as well as a custom lower front spoiler which I think might tie in the wheels a bit more. We shall see.

Thanks for thinking of me, I had to go back and look in the thread but the soarer I had just asked if you had picked it up from one of your posts, the ones I was after are the eclipse, white Supra, and was the red fj43 but I have since gotten that one so just the Supra and the eclipse if you can? Shoot me a dm and we can work out details, let me know if I have anything listed you want.

Deep Green Pearl paint on Hot Wheels Volvo Gasser. Wheels were odds and ends laying around. My area is starting to come alive again. Seen more stuff in the stores but very little that interests me. I'm to damn specific.

 

Matchbox 57 Fairlanes.
The one has a Hot Wheels Comet Gasser suspension underneath. Very little trimming to work. Front wheels set slightly forward but that is not unusual with Gasser style cars. Only problem was rear bumper delete. I tried to make a push bar from a pen ink tube but need to come up with something else better.
The other Fairlane was tu-toned and tubbed to get those wheels to fit.

 

I like that… I have one of the older version I picked up for memento purposes… as a young one, I rode in both the passenger seat and bed seats of my friends brat (tan). I was driving a GMC Jimmy custom or a Olds Delta 88… land barges, but moved plenty of people.

I went to visit in-laws in Oklahoma so I stopped a few times on the way up and back at as many places I could get a way with...if you know what I mean LoL. Here is what I came up with...mostly DG and DT to include Walmart and Target...but mostly Dollar General/Dollar Trees. No TH or STH's. Or purple trucks! But overall not to bad...

Here was the first DG I stopped in just before Oklahoma Stateline and I was quite pleased on what I saw....keeping these though.

 

Understandable! I've actually seen that case at two different Walmarts, but they had been gone through and no trucks at all.
