Ok, spring camping season is upon us. Although I like winter camping so my season is coming to an end.

Anybody have any OEM shocks or potentially a set of aftermarket springs kicking around?

I've got to get my Foxes rebuilt and I need something to ride on in the meantime.

I'd prefer something with a higher rate spring up front because I have no sway bar and I'd prefer not to ride the spooky pendulum to work for a week or two.

 

I’ve got the TRD off road takeoffs from my truck, they have 120,000 miles on them, but you can have them if you want

 

Does anyone think this is worth the gamble?

 

meh. It's a no for me

 

I prefer the bed rug tailgate cover.. because you are always crawling around up and onto it and the padded tailgate is gold, plus nothing rolls off it when you set stuff on it.

I'll second that, my truck came with the bedrug pre-installed from the prior owner, and I thought I would hate it, but with the shell it works so well

Im in Maricopa city so southern end of the valley. Now that I think about it I'm not 100% sure the shocks are the same between 4Runner and Taco.

Trying not to open the can of worms of UCA's, etc, just hoping for some servicable shocks (and hopefully maybe upgraded front springs because no sway bar) to tide me over while I get a rebuild.
