They need to be snowplow resistant :Dnow I have seen some that are snowplow proof, they require a welder and some old car parts, ie coil spring. They look the nicest

That might be OK in larger cities that have estabished public transportation options but not out here. We need our vehicles for everything. Things are too spread out and you need to drive yourself everywhere. My old commute alone was 15 miles each way with zero options for public transport. Same for shopping.
If you're bored look up the Guthrie apartment project in Bozeman. Thats getting pushed through despite strong opposition from nearly every single homeowner in the area. Its going to be a damn nightmare for parking because its in the middle of town where most of the residents already park on the street and its full.

That project looks like a shitshow in the making. Knocking one floor off the top while still not adding sufficient parking for at least one spot for single units and two for doubles is stupidity. I'm all for fixing the broken permitting processes in new construction, but eliminating the parking in a vehicle bound society is only going to lead to more problems. Montana is the fourth largest state in the union, having a car is a necessity even for the poor folks.

Growing up, I had a neighbor that used 2 pieces (both ~8” diameter and buried 4ish feet) of an auger ( I think from an old combine) to support their mailbox. Always wondered what it would do to an errant car…

I took my son for a haircut. When I went to pay the girl at the register she says "the tenth haircut is free", then I said "Really ? I never get anything for free. Now I know what it's like to be a tall blonde in a bar" :D
The girl started laughing and I remember thinking, where was this sense of humor when I was her age ? I was kinda shy into my mid 20's.

Do you feel that you're more quick witted as you age ? Or do we just lose our inhibitions and we don't care what people think ?

I’m not quick witted, just grumpy and don’t care what people think. I open doors for women and older people, actually everyone, I’m 67. Tip well and say please and thank you. Society has changed a lot in my years and not for the better, oh yeah, I use my turn signals. I do enjoy when people go the extra mile and I like compliments, sounds like you have a good barber/ hairdresser

Garages need to be snowplow resistant.

My mom’s garage was hit. No one knows how to fuckin plow. I never hit anything in 20 years. They hit it twice.

Long story short, the contractor never knew it was damaged.
Once he found out it was repaired in less than 2 weeks.

We stop trying. The problem is to not be creepy.
