    I have been accused of being a foodie from time to time. Lol20250112_163450.jpg 20241027_171635.jpg 20241020_170510.jpg 20231123_133638.jpg 20231014_185217.jpg IMG_20230323_185029_648.jpg

Lol. Depends on the purpose. Most tacos and enchiladas=corn. I will use flour tortillas for some dishes occasionally.
Both corn and flour tortillas are used in Mexico, depending on whether that region grows wheat or corn.
I personally prefer corn tortillas where tacos are concerned.

    Thanks!
The cookie dough is a safe-to-eat uncooked dough. It's store bought. The rest of the cheesecake I made at our daughter's request for her birthday. She wanted a chocolate chip cookie dough cheesecake.
That being said, I'll eat uncooked eggs anytime. I won't feed them to others. But I love them.

My daughter and I are heading out west in June for some overlanding, fishing, and photography trip, celebrating her HS graduation. We will hit South Dakota, Wyoming, Montana, and Idaho.
I asked her to tell me what she wants to eat while in camp.
So far she wants fish tacos, tonkatsu ramen, shoyu chicken and noodles, pasta with marinara, spam fried rice, and chicken/ andouille gumbo.
I love camp cooking and enjoy feeding folks something they never expect to get in camp.

o_O the perspective is messing with me, is that a LOT of oil (which I respect) or is that a tiny food bucket with handles?

We stocked up mason jars - wide mouth. 16oz wide mouth is great, use it for a ton of food storage. 32oz wide mouth also great, also use for a ton of food storage, whenever we can. Have some plastic lids, everything goes in the dishwasher. Has been a great addition to the kitchen! I have some pour lids too I use to be able to use them to drink out of or put sauces in.

    https://addictedtodates.com/cinnamon-swirl-cheesecake/

We make that one without the inside crumbles, or the topping. Just the crust and the filling, and it comes out great. My wife is a vegan so the vegan approach is where that comes from, but THAT cheesecake....I enjoy that one and make it regardless! The biscoff crust is a real game changer.

I'm with you on the cookie dough - I'll eat it, I won't "trick" others into (serve it without telling them it's uncooked eggs).

hahah..understood. it is a 1qt food jar (I have bigger ones as well) I picked up a a restaurant supply house. I usually use that jar for making cabbage pickles or something. I let the chili oil chill for two days and I will split it into 2 16oz jars.

I have a coworker that always bakes me things, and another coworker with a cute tiny daughter that loves spicy stuff. this batch is spoken for. I am still eating off my last huge batch that I kept all to myself.

Yup. But you have to add time to make up for boiling at elevation. :D.
