    We've got an old boy that is hanging in there, felix is about 18 now, lost a lot of weight. But he's still loving and sits with me every morning for coffee. He can still get on the counters and the bed, so for now he's doing ok. I just give him all the love he wants while he's still with us. But I know his time is coming too.

    So sorry for the losses of loved fur babies. Even though we know they have limited time it never makes it any easier saying goodbye. My old lady shop cat is still going strong at 17, I swear she is gonna outlive the whole family. The ol girl is resilient! Only been to the vet one time to get spayed when she was a little one.

    Side note: Nova has been my little nurse while I was sick. She never left my side. She is too good to me :hearteyes:

    one suggestion...weight loss in elderly cats is sort of the way it goes...but special kidney food is the best option. Hills K/D if you can afford it. It helps with quality of life and longevity. Even as an extra on top of their regular diet.
