    Survived the baby shower weekend.
    Thursday picked up son, fiancé, and "the bun" from LAX. At 5:30 pm. With 10 bazillion other idiots driving on the 405. Took 45 minutes to make the last 8 miles to the airport. We did stop at Roscoe's for dinner.
    Friday was errands here, there, and everywhere. And chicken food.
    Saturday woke up at 7 and it was POURING buckets. Then sun. So we set up tables. Then buckets as we moved tables under tents. Then sun. The moved again. Then sun and tacos and tequila.
    Sunday son's plane left at 9, so we were on the road at 6. After tacos and tequila. Took 55 minutes to drive to the airport, and 53 to get home.

    Can I please be sent to my room to take a nap?

    Yea, funeral was today for my family’s friend that passed away a couple weeks ago.
    I wore pantyhose and a skirt.
    Can’t remember the last time I wore either. But the sweet southern lady that she was she wore a skirt every single day - rain or shine or 50 below. So I figured I should dress like a proper lady today in her memory.

    I worked at a ski resort that made their first tow rope out of an old truck, just like the wood splitter. Axle mounted at the bottom of the hill, start the truck at the top and put her in gear. Never saw it work, but seen pictures, mid sixties Chevy 4x4 pickup :thumbsup:
