    Yeah.
I wouldn't have a case since I do the same. I keep 2x4 and 4x4 scraps around for various jobs, best tool ever. When I did my truck regear, I used them to hold the axles out without marring stuff up.

I have multiple bleed kits and blocks. Pretty sure they have a tapered side, I've just used them to push the pistons back.

I hear ya. My Allied does not have guides which makes changing out brakes a PITA since I have to remove the crank and bb to guide it through. I've used the Park tool to guide the cable through with some success but at this point in my life, it's just easier to go wireless.

Wonder how long till wireless brakes. lol.
    Guarantee someone’s working on it.

Speaking of which. I got my first AXS reverb. Shit, I’m eating my words. Wouldn’t be worth the $700+ original price, but the new one at $550…. With 20% coupon…. Ughhhh.

How long until this reaches the US?
    Legislation is coming for Ebikes.
Personally, I welcome it. There is absolutely no need for more than 750W motors. Put the R&D into making them lighter, more compact, quieter, softer cut-off, and better at putting down power naturally.

When it comes to their rationale for doing it, at least the way I understood the article, I don’t see that solving problems here. Around me it’s more kids on built surrons, scooters or those mini Segway things riding places they aren’t supposed to be riding. People on actual e-bikes aren’t really the problem.

R+D wise it would be cool if they innovated more though.

    not enough.
wait. dont' we already ahve that e-bike classification/definition in the legal code? 750W is the upper limit of e-bike definition already, i thought. anything more and it is an e-motorbike. at least, that's my understanding in UT.

Yep. But we don’t have federal limits, which would force manufacturers to limit the power output. Otherwise they can keep pushing power and say it’s up to consumers to know the local rules. And those rules vary widely.
That’s what Spesh is doing with the Levo. Saying not to use class 3 where you’re not allowed to. It’s careless.
Where rules would help is simply requiring any bike over 750W, can go over 20, or have a throttle to be registered as a motor vehicle at the point of sale. Sure would be funny to see them with a plate

Oh. I see what you're saying. Yeah, federal level would probably be helpful. Granted, who knows how long that'll take. Lol.

I’m up here in Chattanooga. Staying till Wednesday morning, watching Hamilton Tuesday night.

Racoon Mtn was closed, yes you can still ride there, but you’re starting at a spot I don’t really like so we rode over to White Oak, it’s okay, it’s beside a college and they do okay with 800 acres I guess. Nothing extreme.

Thinking Walden’s one day while here and seeing what all the city has to offer. Attack on status is a cool place, think of it like a Japanese Bar. It’s definitely on theme.

Wednesday probably make a 2.5-3 hour trek to Ober Gatlinburg, probably 1 day there, maybe 1 day at Wildside, and maybe 2 days at Windrock.

If I was advanced I’d probably pay the money to take the into the Gnar class at Windrock. It’ll be fun to watch that video after being there. I haven’t been in 2 years since before Aaron owned it.

Where did you ride in Columbus?
The standing boy trails east of there are pretty decent.

I went down to Massanutten for the DHSE race on Sunday. I had never seen a downhill race in person…man these people are fast. Even the kids were flying. I didn’t race but did bring my camera to build my portfolio a bit. Not my best work but it’s my first time doing MTB photography so need to refine my setting a bit. Camped in Luray VA last week for the kid's April Vacation. Ended up bringing the gravel bike instead of MTB, wasn't interested in driving over an hour to the local trail network that seemed worth it - Massanutten (see the photos above from @113tac ).

The gravel roads were plentiful and lots of great scenery to take in.

How’s the gravel? I’ve never ridden the gravel there. We rode in northern fauqier a couple weeks ago which is also like an hour from Luray and it was honestly amazing riding.

Lots of gravel to be had - the rolling hills started catching up at the end of a few rides (death by 1,000 cuts), but the roads were in great shape with well packed gravel. Not much loose over hard.

Nice, I may have to hit that area up, it’s just harder to justify a long drive for gravel when I can ride the MTB haha

I stupidly broke the MRP Lift damper in my 38, so I put the Grip back in until the MRP gets fixed. The Grip was pretty bad on the very chunky trails with very little composure in the rough. The guys and I still had a heap of fun.

Not sure you intention going forward with the damper, but MRP just announced Lift V2 which seems to incorporate some changes based on common V1 feedback including general valving and overall adjustment. They claim they will also offer a conversion upgrade from v1 to v2 which may be helpful depending on what broke on yours.

Yeah, I'm aware of that and I'm having the V2 rebound put in it. Unfortunately, I spent all of yesterday working on my truck and haven't had the time to package up the damper to send back yet.
