My girl loves the mountains, but we already had a trip scheduled to the beach. Not looking for a big ceremony, so she thought the beach would be nice. We originally talked about having it on the top of the mountain here in Huntsville overlooking the city.

You still have your youth. Take your time.

Make sure you go somewhere that knows their posterior from a hole in the ground to have it aligned. I had a nightmare with the Toyota dealership screwing it up the first time.

However, Southern Offroad in Pelham, AL did a great job with it, and they all are really friendly.

Check out MetalTech 4x4. They had good prices when I ordered my stuff.

    Me or lifesaflaw123?

Thanks for the information. I actually just ordered them from wheelers cause they had free shipping on them and metaltech wanted 30 bucks to ship. I'm gonna call around town and see if i can find a place that knows how to do an alignment on these adjustable UCA's. The place I usually go told me they could try it but they have never done it before and that I should look around first.

With the instructions it's not terribly complicated.

From what the tech at Southern Off-Road said the procedure is to center the eccentric adjustments on the LCA, then get it aligned as close as possible with the UCA. Then, secure everything on the UCA, and fine tune to perfect with the LCA. The LCA being set to the center of the adjustments before the top is locked in should allow you to have the truck aligned later without touching the UCA's. The benefit of that is that any place that does an alignment could do it w/o messing with anything aftermarket. In theory, all of this makes sense to me.

Also, ask what their warranty is on the alignment. I had some shifting and Southern Off-Road set it back free of charge since I hadn't changed anything.
