Happened to see that a wishlist item was on sale for almost half off. Bought it immediately

Got around to sending this in to Rik at Time Care Inc based on recommendations from this thread and others on Rolex Forums. He's a good guy and although the watch was running great; after getting it back things felt tighter when winding and setting the time. Goes to show how well built these things are, running fine even never been opened for 40 years.

The older I get the more I enjoy the jubilee bracelet.

How’s the bracelet after 40 years?

Compared to a new one you can tell it's loose but on the wrist it's a non issue.

Picked up a new to me LHD as a bonus gift for a hard fought 2024 success and first year in a new job that I knew was going to strain me.

Bought via Chrono24 from JZL Enterprises, who has some dubious reviews, but all worked out well, and is in far better condition than described. Def has the expected scratches and scuffs for a Pelagos. But more than fine for a DD/Tool watch.

I don’t know much about watches but figured someone here could help me. I was given this watch as a gift. The glass is pretty beat up. Can it be replaced?

The crystal can be replaced if can find the right size to fit it. I have replaced a few using a cheap Watch press from Harbor Freight

I'm sure they could help but not sure what you're comfortable spending.

Update on a post a few months ago regarding purchasing a watch from Wise in Thailand. I did end up purchasing the watch a couple months ago and it finally shipped yesterday from Bangkok. Can't wait to get it. I will post up some pics when I receive it. It was shipped FedEx International Priority, so should get it pretty quick. This is the one I decided on. 904L stainless with a travelers GMT, red GMT hand.

Here it is, all unwrapped and upon first blush, it is a beautiful watch. The finishing is fantastic. Bracelet has toolless link removal and micro adjustment. Took all of 30 seconds to adjust it to my wrist. Uses the Miyota 9075 GMT movement, the GMT hand was customizable, I chose red. They also use 904L stainless. The case itself is a work of art.
