    Can't like that either.

Usually the Chiro can take you quickly and less than $100, there is probably one near your work.

I'm fortunate to have a good one local, second generation now.
They don't do any of that "maintenance program" nonsense, just "call me when you need me".

So, I did make a bit of an oopsie with the sawzaw cutting out the old metal box on the other side of the wall... First time in my life the tool was too long :anonymous:

Oh well, along with the wooden trim getting painted, the walls are getting a couple coats of new paint. Flat really doesn't clean up well despite hiding the defects in the old asbestos sand textured walls :bananadead:

The comments I saw elsewhere, said the 90° was better at stuff like bicycle tires and other tight spaces. I haven't ridden a bike in years. I've got to wait a couple of days until EOM payday to order myself.

It is how the health care system is everywhere. The good old saying "A good doctor treats the disease; a great doctor treats the patient who has the disease.” is near non existent these days

Skip the chiropractor. My wife beat the crap out of me with a massage gun. The muscle hurt afterwards but at least the pain wasn't radiating down my arm anymore.

I forgot this from yesterday, in Subaru circles the filter is located in "the ring of fire". The exhaust surrounds it.

Sometimes I question if trying to improve things is worth it...

I removed the old 24" wide metal vanity cabinet, the wire coming down from the attic powered the light and outlet.

    20250428_162352.jpg

It also powers every damn light in the entire small house - including the front and back porch. :censored:

To cheer me further the studs are mounted wide instead of deep so the wall cavity is only 2"... :frusty:

Have I mentioned that I hate working on houses.:pout:

So there, mess with me eh? :duel:

There was a board 1/2 way down the wall cavity to drill through and the wire isn't attached to anything but it is there.

Only about 25 trips up & down the stairs.
I won the day - homeward bound.

I think things like this are pretty popular in old houses.

A coworker is fixing up the lake house he bought 2 years ago. He's already added extra floor joists and and 2x8s to the shed roof to get rid of some of the bounce.

His current undertaking that he showed me today is to figure out what the previous owner(s) were doing with electrical wiring. He was already planning on redoing the entire bathroom so ripping the paneling and sheetrock out wasn't a big deal but he's found 7 code violations (inaccessible junction boxes, butt joints that are just taped together, etc.) in the bathroom alone and some of the wiring continues to other parts of the house. He's going to be busy getting that all sorted.

Is is very common in old houses to find splices in the walls or ceiling with just wire nuts and friction tape.

Did I mention I hate working on houses...

That’s correct, but the cheap chuck from just about anywhere will fill that void if needed…

    IMG_2473.jpg

I use it mostly for the lawn tractor tires, as the axle spindle gets in the way.
