Wait, you now have ordered two different ARB bumpers and gone back to stock instead?

I used a heat gun and remolded a bunch of the plastic inside the fender well and on my flares, so they clear all the plastic during normal driving. I've got the plastic pushed back about as far as possible. It'll rub a little bit during flex still, but there's no trails or real offroading here. It still rubs the cab mount at steering wheel lock, but it's just barely rubbing. I should have time to install my lift this week if the rain stops, then I'll see what sort of clearance it has and make a decision and how much more cutting and grinding I need to do.

My wheel back-spacing means it doesn't rub anywhere on the UCA's, etc. I'll take a closer look when I've got the wheels off to install the lift, but seems to have plenty of clearance.

Definitely loving the big improvement in traction. We have some insanely steep roads here in PR that are a pain during the rainy season. I would occasionally break traction with my old, balding tires. Zero issue now with the Wildpeaks.

Decided to replace all four 18 year old door seals today keeping the cabin quiet and weather sealed also replaced one seal on the body that was ripped.

Replaced the passenger door check, I was done listening to the obnoxious clicking
    IMG_8437.jpg

Did some wiping down behind the door panels during the process. It’s the little things sometimes

Not so much what I did to the taco today, but I still thought it was cool.
In my high school English class we had to write an essay on something that we claim is “overrated”. Being the Toyota loving young man I am I chose to argue that jeeps are over rated. I felt more prepared for that essay than any other writing assignment I have ever had (never gotten over an 80 on these :angrygirl:). Got my grade back today and I aced that sucker :bananadance:. Converted my teacher too while I was at it.
Jokes on my parents, all this time researching taco stuff IS helping my grades

Drove 3 hours to New Hampshire to have the sliders welded on. I'll touch up the primer and paint them this week (Rustoleum semi gloss black).

Thanks! They look better than I expected them to, lol. Definitely better than the silver 5 spoke steelies I think.

It’s not super cheap but worth it to me
Got a discount through my shop.

Keep in mind 2 of those parts are the on body seal and the door check.

The first 4 part numbers are the 4 seals that go around each door, if you really wanna go crazy you could also replace the cabin side seals as well but I don’t believe it’s necessary unless they’re damaged
