Good day. I've searched and searched and can't find any info on how to REMOVE the filler panel between the headlight and bumper. Most of what I can find is people discussing poor aftermarket part fitment as well as clip replacements. Nothing on how to remove them for repair.

Mine are chipped up badly. I want to remove them and refinish. I have a 2003 and as I understand, the early 1st gen use a combo of screw and clips and later was all clips.... or maybe I have that backwards..

I don't want to go yanking on the things and break something that's likely already brittle from age.

    Thanks in advance!

They're friction fit with some little tabs. I didn't use a tool the last time I pulled mine, they came out pretty easily. (Mine's 01)
I can probably find a video.

That's exactly what I needed. Always easier to understand the "why" along with the "how."

    Thank you very much!

No problem. A good visual always helps.
