    Hey guys,

new member, but I can’t find anything similar to my situation in the forums. I just installed the Auxbeam BA80 in my 2020 Tacoma. Everything works, except that my interior knob and button lights won’t light up, and radio won’t dim after installation. I initially plugged into the headlight fuse, then switched to the radio fuse after I notice the issue. Still no change in the interior lights.

    Any help would be awesome.

I have an AuxBeam switch I used a fuse tap for power. I used the fuse for the power outlet it is a 15 amp fuse. I also used the fused box inside the cab and not the one under the hood. If you don’t find any blown fuses make sure they pushed all way into the slot. If this doesn’t solve your issue try taking the negative battery cable off the battery for 30 minutes this will cause a hard reset.

I already ran a hard reset, but I will run one again after I switch to the inside fuse box. I will run the fuse tap to the inside fuse box and see if that changes anything. All fuses are correctly seated and are not blown.

How do you have it setup? My BA80 requires Constant Power pull (from battery) and a trigger wire setup that goes to the cabin fuse box. It has an internal solid state relay similar to all the other relays in the unit. Are you pulling constant power from the fuse panel?

I set mine up like yours constant power from battery grounded everything to truck ground bolt on fender next to negative battery cable. Then I ran trigger wire inside cab and used a fuse tap for power. I used the fuse for the power outlet because the power goes off when you turn truck off. Plus for some reason if I blow a fuse it won’t effect anything on truck except plug outlet.

Recheck the cable that connects your interior controls to the Auxbeam panel.

If you disconnect or even remove the Auxbeam does your radio go back to normal?

Hey all, well this is a doozy. I was in the process of running my fuse tap to the interior panel, and noticed the panel fuse was gone. Plugged it into that panel fuse hole….bam. Still unsure of how the panel fuse came out or where it went..

Thank you guys for the help!
