Haha it’s snowing here

 

That was neat! I thought it was just going to be some drizzle rain. Had more of a blizzard for over an hour. Now, mid 60s already and mid 70's tomorrow. Shuckin the last bit of firewood down the hill this morning, I was roasting and all the bugs are already coming out... bleh

But all the neat flowers too, dutchman breeches, trillium, trout lilly. And fiddlehead soup coming soon.

Well the wife crossed over yesterday.
Had a 18 forester with 30k on it.
Now she has a 25 rav with 16 miles on it.
It was kinda funny cause my truck parked in front was stealing the show. People would talk to me about it.

Lots of farm spreadin' their goods around the past two days. Be sure to close the recirc if you go past any fields... and wash the vehicle afterwards or your garage will know

I did it with the wife’s car she got mad at me!

 

Yeah, definitely no 'gating. I even try to move over as far as possible if they are in the other lane. One of the first years we were up here in VT, and I was on the outside of a corner when the unseen spreader was coming the other way. Sure enough there was enough left in the tube and momentum carried it my way. Enough that I had to do a wash lol.


I've never looked into the logic of it, but it seems they try to do the spreading just before a rain. Wouldn't that tend to make it run off more? I'd think to spread it, let it dry, then turn it in which they do anyway????
