    We had a big city buy our section of land from a smaller city. Built in the 40s the house and land are loosely planned and the new city is trying to get us to comply with their rules. Doesn't fit well.

    I get why but they won't budge on certain items. Although they wanted to put in sidewalks but gave up on that idea.
