So there is a soft hose coming off the heater control valve and it goes down the firewall on the drivers side to a hard hose that leads to the thermostat and has a bracket on it that bolts to the block but the bolt gets tight before it secures the bracket. Anyone know else goes onto that bolt? It’s right behind the fuel filter on the block looking at the block from the drivers side of the engine bay.

that bolt I pulled out and put back in so it’s the right bolt. I just don’t remember what else was on it.

I cant visualize what your describing & wouldnt know anyways as my thing wasnt toyota...
Maybe o2 sensor bracket, trans cooler line bracket, may be a manual trans though...
    Thats all I got.
But from your description if you didnt send the head to the machine shop, its 100% the right bolt...

No it’s alright. I can’t get a good picture of it anyways so it’s all good. I replaced the u joint at the trans and it fixed the squeak noise.

Just drive it and enjoy. Keep trying to get a picture of it and someone one on TW will know in the mean time if it was important you would probably already know. You can always just put in a shorter bolt lol.

If that’s the only issue then you did great.
