So there are lots of discussions on the ABS sensors and wire harness but my question concerns the factory differential lock. I've tested the ABS system and everything is good, I have power to the sensors and power to the ABS solenoid relay circuit. I don't have a computer to run a test but I don't think the ABS motor or solenoids are bad. The diff lock on the other hand has literally dissolved from New England road salt. My thought is the ABS thinks the diff lock is actuated but I'm having a hard time deciphering the wire diagram to figure out what the abs looks for from the diff lock. Does it want to see a grounded connection or open or positive?

The ABS gets the locker signal on Connector S1 Pin 7 (Blue/Yellow) (WO VSC) or S1 Pin 26 (Blue/Yellow) (W VSC) from the Transfer Indicator Switch on the rear locker, the switch Grounds the wire when it is locked. If the wire was grounded the dif lock indicator would also be illuminated on the dash as it's on the same circuit.

Have you checked what code(s) you have in the ABS?

Ok, that’s what I gathered from the diagram. Basically code 11 - open or short in abs solenoid relay circuit. All the other codes are signal malfunction for each wheel speed sensor. But they all get power and the fronts are new from replacing wheel bearings so it’s not speed sensors. Power and ground were good to the abs solenoid relay. The only thing know to be broken in the whole abs system is the locker. 75% of the electric motor is dissolved

If powers and grounds are good at the ABS unit then the code 11 means you have an internal failure of the unit.

The locker has nothing to do with the ABS aside from the one wire that signals to the ABS that it is locked, everything else to do with the locker and 4wd system is handled by the 4wd ECU and totally independent of the ABS.
