I was able to find a pitman arm from a 2wd Toyota pickup that has the taper the way I needed. I just had to "machine" the Toyota master splines (2x inny) to work on the Nissan Xterra box (4x master splines outy).

I wish I could mess with it more. Doing a big side job for a local on here this weekend, a 63 swap on a 2nd gen. Then random stuff around the house.

I seriously was not expecting it to come in 5 days but I couldn't just leave it in the boxes....

Ordered a motorguard and desiccant filter so that should help out my air until I can get a better compressor that I'll do some mods to.

Emptied my tank last night and there was at least a cup or two of water in there.

The old guy in the machine shop was wondering how it would cut aluminum and stainless so I gave it a try.

The stainless definitely has some what would be called sugaring in the welding world. Aluminum looks great. All of this was first cut using kind of book settings. Not dialed in by any means, I haven't done any of that just still playing with it.

Just got a call from STV and Angel advised me that my table is shipping today :bananadance:

Hell of a lot faster than I expected, so I should be seeing my table anywhere from the middle to the end of next week. Just couldn't confirm if the shipping company travels at all during the weekend.

    @koditten

If I recall correctly, you've got the same 15 gallon holding tank I do right?

If so, what adapter did you use for the drain? It runs a 3/4" MGH male port at the bottom, and reading up on things it seems that using a 3/4" NPT female end can crack the drain port.

Just ordered some some marine silicone sealant and some flex seal (both spray, and liquid in a can). I want to actually set up the "fill" correctly for filling up the new water table instead of manually holding a tube in place and turning on my small submersible pump.

Getting the water table drain and fill setup has been key. The one, of many, mistakes I made was when I was filling with air pressure. I closed the drain after it filled but forgot to fully depressurize the air line. It force some small leaks overnight and I thought I had to reseal it all. However, once I opened the fill air line and it released pressure the liquid sealant closed everything back up without issue.

Simple but very helpful for me. I made some fully adjustable floating foundation anchors for my shed setup. Now for concrete and rebar to set it all once it stops raining. It is a very wet location. I couldn’t dig below the frost line (48”) so I put in 2ft of crushed rock, some flat rock slabs about 4” thick, then railroad ties and 2x12 on top of that for the cinder block tower to rest. The adjustable anchors should allow me to fine tune level and account for any frost heave over the winter.

No. I'm a 1 and done cat. Lol. I just fill the cut pan with tap water.

I really only cut every other month.

I drain it in the drive when done and fill the pan the next time I need to do some cutting.

Yeah I used a submersible pump for the Crossfire Pro.

Filling it up literally took like 30 seconds from completely empty to completely full.

Thing is, I was using clear, food grade line to feed the fluid from the tank's top and into the table. I plan to do something similar but either use the drain with ball valves for opening/closing feed and drain, or use a small spout.

I have a file for said spout but no one wanted to 3D print it for me.

Nice job on those adjustable anchors. Haven't seen anything quite like them for residential but they look like they'd work awesome.
