Stereo replacement??

I'm looking to swap out my stock stereo unit in my 2023 Tacoma with a used unit.
Is it a plug in and play or is there any reprogramming by dealership involved?

I was talking about swapping out stock unit for stock Toyota unit.

 

No, however if you are swapping you will need to make sure you replace with a like unit. If you have JBL, you will need to replace with a JBL radio. And viceversa.

Not sure on the 20 and up, but on the 16-19s the SR5 radios were different than the TRD models. In that specific case (also assuming non-JBL) it was plug and play, but you needed a different radio bezel.
