It's literally magic that you didn't get plasti-dip on the painted door.

    Looks good!

Thanks. I did not add their side support brackets. Didn't know about that until just now. LOL.

I had a local shop do the install since I'm not well-versed in electrical and had the light bar, winch and Auxbeam switch panel installed at the same time. I liked the OEM+ look and didn't want to do any more cutting.

The CBI covert had everything I needed to house a light bar and winch and I thought it looked the best out of all the other covert style bumpers out there.

Thank you! No I don’t really notice a difference besides them having fresh padding.

OK gotcha, I was thinking it weighed more than that... I need to rent one to fix a leaning retaining wall, now I know I can tow one if needed... lol

upload_2025-5-1_18-40-52.jpgDue to a month ago surgery, I finally was able to clean my truck. But those Toyos are still beat up. I usually spray some Superclean on them and work that brown out of them but I’m looking for other options before I run out and buy some. Anyone know a better brown tire cleaner. I’m m not really into the armor all shine either

But it is a great "free" alternative to a rear locker! ;-) I have definitely been in spots where I was teetering on 2 opposing wheels and almost any shift in weight was able to put one on the ground so I could definitely see her standing there helping. Not that that makes it safe or advised.

That Adam’s cleaner is legit. It works really well with a light scrub and leaves a clean non-shiny surface.

Chemical Guys VRP is another great product for helping to delay the browning. It gives a little sheen (really just looks more “clean”) but not shiny and slimy like most of the tire products out there. VRP is one of the few CG products that I’ve tried and really like.

Looks like they will look great on your truck...

Do we need to guess what size they are??:boink::rofl::rofl::rofl:

    I totally agree...
Not an off roader (anymore), but I have had to do stuff like that in the past, also had to have someone(s) jumping up and down on a bumper trying to get traction... And the whole point of having whoever stand on the bumper is weight transfer, weight transfer can make a difference in traction, that is one of the main reasons drag racers relocate the battery to the back...

You know what sounds like a worse idea? Rolling the truck over on its driver's side. If you've never put your truck into terrain where its teeter-tottering, I guess you'll never understand how even a 105 lb girl alone could move an entire truck. Is it safe? Not exactly; but neither is wheeling through Death Valley. I'd argue she's safer standing on the rear bumper, with the ability to bail out, potentially taking a 2 1/2 ft fall vs being crushed in the cab if the truck did happen to flip. Even if its just for a photo opp, who cares? From the pics, they obviously put the truck through rough enough terrain to warrant some respect and confidence that they have 1/2 a clue as to what they're doing out there.

Added vinyl overlays to my stock 22 TRDOR wheels. Between that and my new plasti-dipped badges, the truck looks 10x better.

Very nice! I was hesitant to do it at first, but they came out way better than expected.
