Can someone give me a quick sanity check?

Going to pull the ABS valve box. Got a tee for the front and a tee for the back. Adjustable proportioning valve will go on the rear line before the split. Not sure if I'll need the proportioning valve, but I figured it's good to have.

Did I miss anything, or are there any unexpected things I haven't considered?

You should consider doing a T at the axle vs where the factory is. Single run from the prop valve to a single hose. A split pre axle adds unnecessary volume to the system.

A little bit of movement with the ram assist steering. Had to build a mount to recess the ram mounts into the crossmember. About a 0% chance of a 2.5” ram working on the second gens. So definitely glad I didn’t try it!

Is there room to get to those top ram mount bolts when the crossmember is on the truck?

They will be replaced with 12 point bolts so I can use a wrench. Won’t be able to remove the rear bolts but will be able to remove the whole assembly. Way tighter than expected. But still going to work.

That's on the table. Only reason I haven't done it already is because I'm considering doing individual line locks for each of the rear tires. 100% a crawling thing. Lock up the inside rear tire in 4 low, and you can turn on a dime

Would also let me get rid of the horrible cable parking brake, but that's not the real driver.

Yeah if you’re going to do cutting brakes down the road then leave as is. If you’re after optimal braking performance, T at the axle.

    Thanks guys!

yeah this thing is about ready to rip. Need to bleed my brakes again though. After replacing the MC, booster, and front calipers, it’s a little
    Soft after the initial bleed.

I'm running a cutting brake on mine! I've spoken to a ton of prerunner guys with the big hand brake, and all of them say they never use it. I figured a cutting brake would actually be useful, especially cuz I can do front digs with the atlas.

Front digs are the way! I know it'd be fun to have the hand brake, but I've not once been in a situation where I needed one.

Hand brakes are a thing of beauty for a manual. I’ll say that much. But a manual makes them basically useless for their actual purpose.
