Stock 2010 F800GS wet weight was 455, add in crash bars, luggage rack, skid plate, subtract lead acid to li-ion weight, I'm probably around 480? I should weigh my bikes..

Stock gearing. I tried one tooth down on the front and that was fine when it was stock. Since I installed the 143 kit I went back to stock. I did put a lighter rear sprocket on but stock size. When I go to the 170 kit I will put a 1t larger sprocket on the front. It will have plenty of power to pull that gear.

I am pissed. Been working out and getting stronger. My back has been feeling real good. I went out today and mowed the lawn and then started pressure washing the driveway. Freaking bent down to pick something up and freaking hurt my lower right back. I hate getting old. Aaarrrgggg!!! Still finished pressure washing though. Time for an ibuprofen and some stretching. Stupid back.

I've been fighting similar issues related to my legs, and what do I do? Wake up, drive for 2 hours, then ride for 2 hours hard offroad. No stretching. Now my body is tense and useless.

Getting old sucks. I'm gonna stretch again now. Sciatica waits for no one!

My friend brought his mower over for me to fix last week, helped him unload it, cleaned the carb, and reload it in his truck, and was laid up for 3 days. Just a regular push mower.

Thanks Spencer. Been away from TW for a bit. Life stuff, work stuff, then I broke my finger so just generally moping around because I couldn’t wrench or ride since I lost the ability to grip with one hand. Finally back at it a little at a time.

Yeah, hows the finger doing? Your threads been pretty quiet, but like you said, I knew you'd be busy with the not-that-recent-but-still-recent job change and the extra knuckle and stuff.

I would rather have an electric street bike over a dirt bike. Most of the time when I ride my dirt bike is where I only have electricity if I fire up my generator. It will be nice when the batteries last longer than they do now.

My push mower doesn't have a carb, gas tank, or even an engine. Mine is human powered.

I won't be riding my dirt bike hard for a while. Not until my broken knee cap heals property. I've been out on my street bike a little. With all the decades ride bicycles and motorcycles on road and off the most I ever got was some scratches and bruises. Walking in the garage I slipped, fell and broke my knee cap. To top it off I was completely sober and not doing any dumb shit when it happened.

It felt good enough to carry tools and equipment up three flights of stairs to do some framing. As t least I had a nice view.

I've had pretty good luck with this stuff. I've never been a fan of CBD until I tried this

I fractured my patella 5 years ago. Did you have to have surgery? Or just immobilizer?

Just the knee brace. The Dr said I broke it the right way. If I had broken it the other way, I would have needed surgery.

Because I'm old too, about to turn 65, and slowing down I'm dangerously close to buying a yamaha tw200 as a retirement gift to myself, lol. I still enjoy riding motorcycles and won't quit until I can't hold one up anymore. So I miss trail riding and I think the tw would be great for a slow roll with minimal fuss. The super low seat height is appealing to me as well. A dead simple and reliable bike to just play on. My go fast days are well behind me.

I was at one time looking for a cheap chinese bike to play with but the reliability of the tdub is legendary. For a few bucks more I think it's worth it.
I'm keeping my bonneville for the street.

Former coworker bought a Ural as his retirement gift to himself. That's about as slow as it gets.
