There are pictures with my tires completely under almost to the fender lip. That’s pushing 40”. That last crossing the last day of the group on trail was the deepest as the picker shows the bow wave to the middle of my grill. Last year I had the bow wave to the windshield on my stupid fuck up scary dumb luck crossing

Small lift, slightly oversized tires, well...
Speaking of water crossings...I washed my air filter and cleaned the MAF today.
    20250502_161111.jpg
Should've gotten a picture of the air filter before washing it. Nasty. MAF looked almost perfect after 126K+. Brought the pressure washer up...time to address the rest of this mess.

People (who don't know how to oil them properly) talk shit about K&N filters...oil all over the MAF and inside the intake tube, or dust past the filter in the intake. I have none of that!

Not sure what you got into. My airbox doesn't look like that.

Edit: You need a Kirby vacuum cleaner bag.

Kirby is overpriced. A Rainbow cleans better.

I've been holding off on flipping the page.......just a reminder that I can't play til August :rain:

But I have been getting into a lot more hunting-related activities. Heading up to Crivitz again during Memorial Day weekend to try and get a gobbler again. That was my original intent when getting my Tacoma.....having a hunting rig, until I met you hooligans

Yeah, they'rewell built. They just didn't clean any better than anything else back when I was selling Rainbows. Nowadays it seems like both are obsolete.

Not sure either. I don't recall the last time I really looked at the airbox. I usually just open it enough to pull the filter...I know, lazy. Anyhoo, that funk was really greasy, yet spray from the garden hose loosened it up real easily. Whatever it was, it's gone now.

    I stopped pussy footin' around.
2 hours to get the old starter out.
Not something I'd want to do on a daily basis.

Looks like your becoming the go-to fix it guy.:sawzall:

Last time I did a starter was probably in 1993 on my lifted (of course) 78 Bronco.
The good'o days. Enough room to crawl in the engine compartment, manually locking front hubs, a real transfer case shifter, 10mpg and of course 35s baby.

You heard me correctly @pearing 35s.

Need to think some about why that keeps happening. I put an inner fender liner in there. Life choices maybe? Not sure what the solution is…
