As a young and impressionable stud, I was enamored with the M7 spec. My friend was trying to talk me into getting a Marauder and I was comparing the M5 and they got a gorgeous M7 in for a customer….

I would love an old (late 90s) 540i with an MT
Had the V8 from the M5 and was all trimmed out with the M goodies

I had a 328is that was as fast as a M once I was done with it

Usually the trim right below the M has all the goodies but doesn't get beat on as hard by the previous owner

 

I dad had an M5 at one point. I wasn’t a fan

 

You drive a Subaru so your opinion is kinda worthless

 

It was a Boat!! Too big. I loved driving my bros m3 though… we are technically Lexus people now

The only reason I would want a 540/old M5 was if I was doing a lot of highway miles - that's when the boat aspect, with a good suspension, really shines
