You're kidding me, right? I would trust the ARB recovery points ten times over anything SXTH element puts out. Lot of weak points in that design. Doubt it went through any sort of structural analysis.

 

Their website indicate pull weight capacity of 11,000 lbs. If this is false information then I’m pretty they would face legal issues.

 

Help me out here folks...what's wrong with a Factor 55 Hitchlink hitch receiver recovery block? Comes in nearly any color you'd want and at $83 plus shipping that seems like the deal of the century in comparison...

I checked out that Amazon product page...smh. If that thing lets go during a recovery, you're gonna wish you spent a little more for something with engineering behind it.

That's why I put the Factor 55 up there. They test everything they sell to be sure it rates the tolerances listed on their products.

 

Anyone know what's up with ARB and 4th Gen components? When I put in my truck info, the site comes up with "Oooops!.. Your search - "2025 Toyota Tacoma" - did not match any products

Has anyone contacted them to ask why they've not come up with any 4th Gen Tacoma recovery points?

We're almost 1/2 way through 2025 and they haven't come up with front recovery gear for the 4th gen?

 

No the 4th gen production model year started on 2024. So use 2024 as model year. Most aftermarket sites are similar. They don’t recognize 2025 Tacoma. Instead they only recognize 2024 model year.

 

All this gear was on display at Overland Expo in SoCal recently. So it’s real.

But I agree with you, the lag time on availability is ridiculous. ARB has a track record for teasing parts in the US that never materialize.

I like their stuff, but we’re headed towards the 2026 model year…

 

I’m confused? Seems like tons of the 2025 SETD tacos are hitting the lots with red ARB rear hooks port installed? Saw a few today at a local dealer.

 

I think it’s only a SETD installed option but they look good whether they’re functional or not.
